After much head banging, deep thoughts, and pondering s… I’ve done it! thanks to https://shoutca.st/
Now, all I have to do, is switch on the raspberry Pi, and within four minutes it is streaming to the on-line server.. Brilliant!!!
I’m slowly updating links, and hope to increase the bitrate from 96 to something higher, just for testing purposes, as I will have to pay for this on a monthly basis, however, pricing is very good, and for upto 30 listeners on a free stream, a few more on a paid service that gives me better sound, so I will try this at sometime in the future. I have a few venues that I am interested in having a talk with, regarding some “test” broadcasts. For me this is very exciting, as binaural audio seems to be taking off like a rocket just now, with many new innovative ideas hitting the Internet.
In just only 12 months I have been to places that I had never dreamed of, and met some amazing people, some of whom have been famous, and I had the chance to record them binaurally too.
The stream seems to only have about a 3 (three) second delay! other services I have tried have been much longer than this.
More to follow!
Please check http://philae.shoutca.st:8381/3dsound.mp3 and just click the play button, if am not there, no worries, if you click the WinAmp icon, I have found that as soon as I am on-line, it plays the stream! Perfect!!!!
For now… seeya!
